Recommended Reading for Pregos and Others

Non Pregos:

I have not seen the movie, but the book Something Borrowed as well as it's sequel Something Blue are both excellent, enjoyable reads!!

Pregos:

There are 2 books that are not on the normal recommended reading list for moms to be but I think are a definite must!!

Work From Home...

Ok Fellow Bloggers I am looking for Ideas. I know many of you are also stay at home moms, and I am wondering if you have any suggestions for making a little extra money while still being at home with your little one. Do you make money by advertising on your blog?? If so how did you get into that business? Or perhaps you have other ideas...whatever it is I would love to hear!!

Challenge of the Day

I stumbled across this on one of the blogs I read...I believe it was from Mommy of 1 and Counting...and I must admit it has consumed my day!! My husband and I have been trying to out do each other and although I cannot spell if my life depended on it, I can definitely type!! See how well you can do...so far 88 is my best score!

First Shots

I know he had a rough go at his 2 month check up with all the shots, but he was so cute covered in his first little band-aids that I couldnt resist taking pictures. Gotta love you some looney tunes...they make everything better!!

My little man loves his grandparents :)!! And in the one with my dad he looks like he is just about to laugh. I cant wait for those days to start. If his smile is already so wonderful I cant even imagine how precious his laugh will be!!

Old School Humor

So its late at night, my baby is asleep and Im flipping through the channels when I stumble upon "Clarissa Explains it All". For one I cannot even remember the last time I saw this show...who knew they played reruns of this. Anywho...then the funniest thing happened.

The station throws up a twitter post that said...Clarissa DIDNT explain blankets with sleeves!!

So that got me thinking what else didnt Clarissa explain? Oh so many things...

Cell Phones that ring through car radios instead of being the size of car radios

The loss of poor Pluto (the planet not the dog)
