Decor Im obsessed with!!

Ok...love this trend, would you hang it on your wall? I have always wanted a moose head on my living room wall, but Im holding out till I live in the country. If you've ever been to my current house you know that it would not fit in here. Although I think I may be able to sneak in one of these stylish creatures and get away with it!! Especially in Baby E's room.

Also check out the ones over at...

Thou shall not Envy, or redecorate

Now dont get me wrong, I love my nursery, but it seems like now everywhere I look are the most adorable nursery ideas. So there will be no changes made to Baby E's room, but I am keeping track for the next one! This art is so simple, and yet so very cute!!!

Baby E's Bedding

Baby E's Bedding arrived today and I could not be more excited. I have looked and looked for bedding, but came up with nothing that I loved under the 350+range, and well, I just cant justify that. Sooo...I recruited my beloved crafters to make me bedding that I LOVE. My mom and Kristi received a shipment of fabric I bought off the Internet, after hours of searching, and they had four jobs....bumper, bed skirt, pillows and curtains.
And they did better than I could have ever imagined. I think its time they quit their day jobs and start crafting full time!! Please note that the ties will look better but Im not the best at tying bows, and my belly keeps getting in the way, so we'll leave that for my mother in law to help me with when she gets here :)!! Also, for those of you protective moms, dont worry the pillows will not be in there when Baby E is sleeping, but right now they're too cute for words and keeping the crib nice and full as we wait on his arrival.

Newest Baby Gadget

Since reading about these in a parenting magazine I just had to have one....so I bought them myself this week!! They are a fork and spoon that are weighted at the bottom to keep them from ever touching the ground. I have practiced dropping them to see if they work and for the most part they do! I wish the bottom ball was a little bigger, but after the initial touch of the ground the silverware does manage to right itself in an upwards position to keep it clean despite the clumsiness of little hands!! I would recommend these to anyone with a lil guy or gal.

2 in 1 swing

I LOVE our new 2 in 1 swing/bouncer. Props to Natalie who told me about these...who even knew they existed. I am all about having less baby junk all over my house. Now dont get me wrong Eli will not go without I am sure but that doesnt mean it needs to look like Im running a day care center. I had actually never gotten to see it in person and when my wonderful inlaws bought it for me I couldnt even remember what it looked like...but thankfully the online pictures were spot on, it is the cutest swing I have ever seen and blends in nicely with our decor! Thank you so much for the swing, I know its going to save me a lot of time rocking Eli to sleep and even allow me to squeeze in a shower or 2!!

Eli's Car Seat

We got our car seat today from my fam (shout out to the folks, we love it!!!) and now we can legally bring Eli home from the hospital. Thats right, you may know CPR and love your child like crazy but without a car seat you're not going anywhere with that baby! I already have it on the stroller ready to go, and am excited to see that they match just as perfectly as we had hoped!! Soon he'll be all strapped in and ready to hit the running trails with his momma. I must admit however, that it took us about 10 minutes to figure out how to detach it from the base....hey we're new at this :)!! Guess we'll be doing a lot more practicing in the next 2 months. By the time he gets here Eli will think we're car seat experts!!

Elis Bed

This will be Eli's first little home. I was so excited when it came in the mail that I didnt even wait for Aaron, I set it all up myself. Now for those who have children you're thinking, yeah yeah play pens are easy, but well...I had to bust out the instruction manual and everything. But in the end it was quite a success!! It is already in our room ready for baby Eli's first night at home! Im so excited that it has a place for him to sleep and be changed all within steps of my own bed. What a genius invention! Thanks Debbie and Donna...we love it!!

Stroller!!!!!!!!

Thats right, you need to see it from both sides cuz its that good looking!! I have wanted one of these since we even started talking about having children! It is going to be my inspiration to get back to running when Eli gets here!! And the turning radius is AMAZING, so there will be no problems getting it in between the aisles at the mall :)!! Gotta plan for all things!!

Nursery additions

So although I may be opposed to "themey" nurseries, my husband is a sucker for cute little stuff for our baby boy. So we are compromising by doing a little bit of everything. We searched and searched for decals we could agree on and finally found this sweet packet of animals that went really well with the tree we already had.

The middle picture is our new MANLY rug for baby Eli's room. Its a standard issue military blanket and fits perfectly in the room as a rug. And for only $20 you just cant beat the price!!

Next step...bedding! My mom is making it for me and I could not be more excited. I will post those pictures as soon as we get all of it finished!

Cribs and Cars

Its official, we're having a baby. Yes I have a baby bump, and I've seen the baby on the ultrasound, but with the crib in our house somehow it seems even more real! After months of research my husband finally found a deal he was happy with and we placed an order for our crib on Amazon. Thats right, like Rachel has been telling us for years, you can get EVERYTHING on that website!! Any who, so I didnt do the research or for that matter put it together, but I am still in love with it and cannot wait to get the little guy home to show him his bed! I think hes gonna love it!!
And notice the cute little cars...those are Aaron's purchase for Eli. Its going to be their first project together. Now I am not sure if you can see but the packaging says for 4 and older, but hey why not go ahead and buy them so that we'll be prepared. I love how guys plan for babies!!
